Company History

Our story began in 2006, when Advanced Excavating Ltd was founded. Since then, the business has built a trusted reputation for high quality civil construction services across Canterbury. Now operating as ‘Adex’, since the company was purchased by Millan Visser in 2025, our team maintains a commitment to high quality work, reliability, and trusted partnerships.

Today, Adex provides tailored solutions for both civil construction and traffic management needs, since the company acquired Titan Traffic Management Ltd in 2025. By offering these services together, we streamline communication, improve safety, and increase efficiency across each job.

Our expansion into traffic management enables us to manage larger civil construction jobs with greater independence and provide solutions for traffic management beyond the civil industry.

Local crews, trusted expertise

We operate throughout Canterbury, with teams working in Christchurch, Rolleston, Rangiora, Oxford, Fairlie, Geraldine, Twizel and surrounding areas.

With up to 30 staff on the ground, we have the resources to support major contractors and council works, while staying flexible and responsive for smaller jobs and residential projects. Every site gets the same professional approach, no matter the scale.
